Registration Opens for Ajman Quran Contest in UAE

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Preparations have begun for organizing the 16th edition of the Ajman Holy Quran Award in the United Arab Emirates’ city.

The “Hamid bin Rashid Al-Na’eemi” Center for Serving the Quran holds the competition annually, according to Ajman News website.

The center announced that registration for participation in the Quranic event opened on Friday, October 21.

It said that in addition to the main event, there will be three sideline categories for mothers, new converts to Islam and “those with strong will power”.

The center said the deadline for registration is November 24.

The competition is aimed at promoting the Hoy Quran in the society, enhancing its role in raising awareness in society and honoring Quran activists in the UAE.

Male and female Quran activists from all over the Arab country participate in the competition every year.
